About me

Hi, my name is Paula. I am the owner, photographer, and videographer of One Verse Ten. I created One Verse Ten because God placed a deep love for photography and videography in my heart at a young age. This work is truly a gift from Him, and I am grateful every day for the calling He has given me. I began my journey in the creative field in 2010, and from that moment on, God has guided my path and blessed each step along the way.

The name One Verse Ten comes from one of my favorite Bible verses: “I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.” This verse keeps my heart grounded and reminds me who I serve and why I create. My work is not about attention, praise, or recognition, but about honoring God with the talents He has entrusted to me.

My background in documentary work, I carry that foundation into everything I create. When I photograph or film an event, I try to capture it as authentically as possible—honest moments, real emotions, and the beauty as it naturally unfolds. Through a minimalist, straight-to-the-point approach, I bring authenticity to a deeper level. I truly believe God placed this calling in my heart, so that those I serve can relive these moments exactly as they were. Years from now, when they look back, they will see what truly happened during one of the most beautiful and meaningful times of their lives.

As a Catholic, I strive to place God at the center of everything I do. Photography and videography are more than just my job—they are my ministry. Through lifestyle and event moments, I seek to capture real stories filled with love, joy, and meaning. I approach every session with care, prayer, and gratitude for the opportunity to serve others.

I do photography and videography to glorify God and to serve others through His gift, trusting Him to guide my work and use it for His greater purpose.
